Kiteboarding Zanzibar pwani Mchangani was established in 2013 Pwani Mchangani mean Sandy beach. The Kitesurf Center here is in within kite villas, The Dhow Club Zanzibar.
Pwani Mchangani beach, is the windiest place on the island. This whole stretch of Pwani Mchanganibeach is just a stunning and pristine location which offers perfect conditions for kiteboarding. In summer we have 18 knots wind up to a blasting 25 knots. Kaskazi the norther wind, brings us this magical numbers and blows approx. from 15th December through 15th April on a daily base. During winter Kusini does its marvelous job from 15thof June through 15th October, this wind blows nearly every day, permanently, Cross on shore to the beach. In the morning it speeds up from 15 to 18 knots. At dusk it rises from 18 to 25 knots, just perfect for our Full-moon events. The crystal clear blue water is on average 27°C the whole year round. Heaven for Kiters, with its flat, hip deep water. Perfect for beginners and the Experience Pros. The paradise beach is perfect for relaxing and sunbathing. Advanced kiters find waves just off the reef or enjoy high speed sessions on the race boards. We offer kite rides Downwinds to stunning Mnemba island, finish at gorgeous Muyuni beach for some last jibes above the reef and its swell.
