WITH CONSTANT WINDS AND WARM WATERS
ZANZIBAR BECOMES THE DREAM LOCATION
Kiteboarding conditions are at their best from the end of December to mid March (Kaskazi) and then again from June to beginning of October (Kusi).
Kaskazi blows from the north-east at an average speed of 18 to 30 knots.
Whereas Kusi blows from the south-east at 18-25 knots.
The wind is consistent during both seasons and its direction is always side onshore.
The average air temperature is 30 degrees throughout the whole year and water is no less than 24 degrees.
The East Coast of Zanzibar has a fringing coral reef that runs parallel from the most southern to the most northern tip of the island.
During June to October, Ras Nungwi kite Beach has the best breaks with waves of 1.5-3 meters.
